Leucotron implements Global IP Solutions' VoIP technology - Brazil

Brazilian IT and telecoms solutions provider Leucotron has partnered with US voice and video IP communications solutions provider Global IP Solutions (GIPS) to embed GIPS' VoIP technology into its IP-PBX telephones, the latter said in a statement.





GIPS' VoIP solution named iLBC will enable Leucotron to ensure a high standard of calling quality for its customers of telecommunications services, especially in markets with constrained bandwidth requirements, according to GIPS.

"We work a lot with the corporate market. We link our several clients' units, and a solution like iLBC - which does not require too much band - is attractive to customers," Leucotron's marketing director Antonio Cláudio de Oliveira told BNamericas.


Leucotron has over 100,000 customers in its client base, serving over 2mn users.
